1. Jackson to Elk Refuge using the Elk Refuge Road
Starting in the city of Jackson, this goes up to a 10 miles round trip and the trail is suitable for fat biking in winter, offering a memorable journey through some of the most spectacular landscapes in the area. Here you will find a varried terrain, with a perfect balance of adventure and tranquility. The trail begins with a smooth ride through the city and, as you pedal out of town, the landscapes open up with breathtaking views of the Grand Tetons while the sweeping plains of the National Elk Refugee emerge.
The trail is mostly flat with gentle inclines, making it perfect for both experienced and casual riders.
2. Jackson to Cache Creek Trail Head
The journey begins as you leave behind the streets of our charming town of Jackson and the trail goes up to 6-7 miles round trip. It is also suitable for fat biking in the winter, offering some quite dramatic mountain views along the way. As you worm your way toward Cache Creek, the trail gradually ascends, providing astonishing views of the Snake River Valley and the imposing Teton Range in the distance.
